Visiting TOKONAME FUR HOUSE from Nagoya
A step-by-step for visitors coming from Nagoya: which line to take, how long it actually takes, and what to do once you arrive.
The short version: from Meitetsu Nagoya station, take the Meitetsu Tokoname Line toward Tokoname or Centrair, get off at Tokoname station, and walk about five minutes. That is the whole route. The longer version is only useful if you want to know why that short version works and how to pace the day.
Which train, from which station
Meitetsu Nagoya station is the Meitetsu-operated station inside JR Nagoya station's block. It is not the JR platform — if you head there from the shinkansen exit, signs will walk you the rest of the way in a few minutes.
From that platform, look for trains bound for Tokoname (常滑) or Chubu Centrair International Airport (中部国際空港). Any train in that direction stops at or passes through Tokoname station. The ride is about 35 minutes.
Arriving at Tokoname
Tokoname station sits at a level higher than the street, with a small plaza below. TOKONAME FUR HOUSE is about five minutes on foot from the station. The walk is flat and straightforward. If you tend to pin a location in your phone before leaving, the store address is S Heights 1F, 5-1 Shinkaicho, Tokoname, Aichi 479-0837.
How to budget the time
If your visit is a quick browse, a round trip from Nagoya takes roughly two hours door-to-door including the ride. If you plan to try pieces on or to combine the visit with a walk on the pottery path nearby, allow half a day.
Hours can shift slightly from day to day. Sending a short message before you come is not a formality here — it actually helps us have the right categories out to look at, especially if you are asking about fur, watches, or a specific trench coat.
